Merlot Colli Orientali DOC is a wine that is produced in the Livio Felluga winery, in the prestigious Collio Friulano. Ruby red, the nose immediately reveals an intense and energetic character: hints of blueberry, black cherry and blackberry emerge with notes of geranium and carnation, spicy tones of white pepper and hints of coffee and bitter cocoa. On the palate it is enveloping, the astringency is pleasant and the persistence excellent: an enveloping and intense wine, perfect for ready drinking, but it can evolve in the cellar for 3 or 4 years.
