"Nicola Gatta" is a winery located in the easternmost part of Franciacorta, 400 meters above sea level. The conformation of the soil of the hills where the vineyards are located is calcareous, which gives its products a marked minerality. In the vineyard, Nicola follows the principles of biodynamic agriculture; only spontaneous fermentations without filtration and clarification and also never adds exogenous sulfur dioxide. This winery has 6 hectares planted only with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the two most important grape varieties in the Franciacorta landscape. This Blanc de Blancs rests 50 months on indigenous yeasts, and is composed only of Chardonnay grapes; it is characterized by aromas of citrus fruits, white flowers and a pleasant minerality. Great for a special occasion or for a pleasant summer dinner.
